Powder Shot Flask
From the 15th through 18th centuries, soldiers and hunters carried flasks to keep their gunpowder dry or carry shot. The containers were also used to measure out the exact desired charge for the caliber of the gun. While powder horns were used by some, powder flasks were more common and far more efficient. They were often made of leather, wood, or metal. Our re-creation makes a distinctive gift and is ideal for historical reenactments. For dry goods only; clean with a soft, dry cloth.
